The practice of dentistry is
subject to various laws and regulations in the State
of California, the violation of which can result in
license denial or discipline, and/or criminal prosecution.
COMDA has compiled a publication
of laws and regulations affecting dental auxiliaries
which can be viewed or printed, and is available

Statutes - Statutes are
laws passed by the Legislature and signed by the
Governor.
The laws governing the practice
of dentistry are contained in the California Business
and Professions Code beginning at Section 1600, referred
to as the "Dental Practice Act". Click
