COMDA is notified of each person's successful passage of the required
course by the approved program, so that there is a record of each person's
compliance with the above law. Graduates of an approved,
full RDA Educational Program after January 1, 1985, are presumed to
have certification in radiation safety, since it is a required portion
of the educational program's curriculum.
A person who is certified in radiation safety may operate dental radiographic
equipment under the general supervision of the supervising dentist.
